. . . because Greg Ellis is whining again! The Pro Bowl OLB has been told by the coaching staff that he is the starter, they want to rest him and give last year’s #1 draft choice Anthony Spencer more reps in the OTA’s. So, what is Greg’s response? “Thanks Coach” — hardly! It must be a conspiracy attempt to lower his compensation; therefore, since his reps have been reduced, Ellis decides to reduce them further, boycotting the remainder of (”what do voluntary mean?”) OTA’s.
Two years ago, Ellis whined about moving to OLB, then ended up having a good year until injured. Last year, the designated “Drama Queen” would not practice/play due to the insurance policy he took out after his injury — Jerry Jones takes care of it, cashing it out in the form of additional compensation. Ellis goes on to have a Pro Bowl season. Nevertheless, this continual episode gets old, originating over Whiney’s dissatisfaction with his contract.
Maybe Greg is attempting to take attention away from Roy (”Thong”) Williams or the anticipation of Pacman’s arrival date? Nah, it’s all about the money!
